Pop Pirates is an overhead 2-D shooter, with bright and crisp graphics. The control is spot on, and the gameplay simple and enjoyable fun. Your mission is to destroy the viruses infesting your computer, and collect the KB they drop after being ‘deleted’. Additional powerups can be picked up to up your firepower and virus killing acumen.

Instructions:
Use your mouse to manoeuvre your spaceman and left click to fire. Pick up all the bonuses and power ups as you go along.

King of Fighters XS

King of Fighters XS – The King of Fighters are back for another throw down session, in one of the few good, pure fighting games in flash. Multiple characters from the series are available, with a few hidden ones waiting to be unlocked. Different stages are also available. While the keyboard isn’t ideal for the fighting game format, the action is still controlled well enough for a fun experience to be had.

King of Fighters XS Instructions:

Punches: U – Light Punch | I – Medium Punch | O – Hard Punch

Sonic

Sonic is another classic platformer that transfers well to the flash format. This game retains all the speed and action of the originals, while adding new challenges. Different playable characters are available from Sonic’s mythos, so fans of the series should have a great time with this homage.

Spindash: hold Arrow Down Key, press Space, then release Arrow key

Incaball

Incaball is a great fusion of a classic puzzle game, with an old school style 8-bit shooter. You probably know the puzzle drill by now. Match up three balls of any color to make them disappear. Where Incaball differs from the rest is that the balls are moving in a row through maze-like tunnels, and you must shoot them from the bottom of the screen with your like-colored balls. Great fun and challenge awaits in incaball.

Sonny is a fun little RPG, that gives you full customization over your character’s class, equipment, items, and abilities. The story is played out with some decent voice acting before battles, and the combat system is a unique variation on the standard turn-based systems seen in many RPG’s. The lack of exploration is a slight disappointment, but for fans who love battling, Sonny will fit the bill.

Desert Ambush – Stranded in the Libyan desert, and ambushed by hordes of nasties, what’s a muscle bound soldier to do but wade through the hordes and beat the snot out of them till his freedom is achieved? Punch and kick your across Libya in Desert Ambush, a side-scrolling combat game reminiscent of classics such as Double Dragon.
