Elite Forces Clone Wars is a strategy game where you must carefully manage your bases and soldiers to achieve victory. The first couple levels act as a tutorial, with no enemy soldiers sent out after you. Once the enemy starts attacking en masse, the game becomes challenging and fast paced, a constant tug of war that can go back and forth till the end. There can be only one victor in the clone wars, make sure it’s your elite forces.

Monsters’ Den: Book of Dread

Monster’s Den is a dungeon crawl RPG, with traditional turn-based battles. You have all the options of a console style RPG, like equipment, levels, spells, shopkeepers, and more. The game is played mainly from an overhead perspective in the large dungeons, and battles can be seen ahead of time and avoided if desired.

Note: to speed up the game, Right-click on the game and select Settings, then set the amount of storage to ‘Unlimited’. (Don’t worry, the game saves still only amount to less than a megabyte)

Star Rebellion

Star Rebellion features missions on multiple planets and moons, tasking you with their defence against the rebellious forces. The real time strategy gameplay is standard for the genre, with you building units and buildings and collecting resources.

Artillery Live is a one or two player puzzle/strategy game, where you must factor in wind conditions, trajectory and speed of fire to hit your target. The game also has an online mode where you can team up with a friend against two other real players.

The Negotiator

The Negotiator puts you into the shoes of an expert smooth talking negotiator, who must get inside the heads of his charges. Each mission has a very specific set of answers that must be used to reach the end, and most characters react as you would expect them to. Trial and error will eventually lead you to success if your negotiating skills won’t.

Warlords Call to Arms

Warlords Call to Arms is an exciting real time strategy game, placing on the battlefield in command of a variety of troop types. The aim of the game is to get your troops through to the other side, with the strategy being that the battlefield has multiple planes you can release troops on, and which your opponent will do the same. Carefully blocking off your adversary’s route of attack, and striking at their weak points will result in victory in Warlords Call to Arms.

Sonny is a fun little RPG, that gives you full customization over your character’s class, equipment, items, and abilities. The story is played out with some decent voice acting before battles, and the combat system is a unique variation on the standard turn-based systems seen in many RPG’s. The lack of exploration is a slight disappointment, but for fans who love battling, Sonny will fit the bill.

Dice Wars

Dice Wars is a die based take on the war board game risk. Your ultimate goal is to conquer the land, one area at a time, by attacking the weakest enemies around you and engaging them in dice battles, where the high roller walks away the victor. Without the ability to place reinforcements on your land and move troops around, the game lacks some of the strategy of the classic board game, but is a fun little diversion nonetheless.

Age of War

Age of War is a fun real time strategy game, pitting your forces directly across the battlefield from another army. You can build different units and defensive mechanisms, gain money and experience from defeating opponents, and eventually upgrade your rank, unlock a whole new set of options. The battle is fierce and non-stop until only one army remains in the Age of War.
