Army of the Dead is a simple shooter, with a small assortment of weapons, and an endless horde of undead horrors, the staple ingredients of a good shoot-em-up. Good for some mindless fun, but the Army of the Dead may not compel for too long.

If you’re looking for an action packed side-scrolling shooter, you’ve found it in Red Code. Choosing from four different weapons, you must traverse alien terrains, wiping out the oncoming hordes of villains. When things get hairy you can also make a break for your ship, where you can fire off rounds from a high powered laser.

Nice graphics and great sound effects really add to the package of Red Code.

Red Code Instructions:
Use WASD to jump and run and mouse to shoot aliens on foot or from the mothership.

In the Storm the House 3, you’re actually the one stuck defending the house, but with how fun it is to do so, there should be no complaints. This side view shooter features plenty of customization options, so even though the gameplay is simple, the variety in ways you can play makes it compelling and unique each play through. 40 levels await you in this addictive shooter.

The Strangers 2

The Strangers 2 features multiple levels of shooting fun, made complicated by the presence of innocent civilians who must remain unharmed. The Last Canopy

An overhead shooter, like so many classics of the genre, The Last Canopy is a great homage to that since dead staple of gaming. Controls are simple and intuitive, and the action is fast, all of it accompanied some outstanding music. If you’re tired of the same old zombie blasting shooters, The Last Canopy is a must try.

The Sniper

The Sniper sets a great atmosphere, with some beautifully crafted, watercolor style backdrops and still images. Your sniper scope lets you zoom right on the environment, and the many enemies scattered behind cover throughout it, but before long your position will be spotted, and things will get ugly. Give The Sniper a try for an experience and look you might not expect.

Boomstick is a shooter with a touch of innovation, as you must shoot enemies in groups to earn larger bonuses. Enemies drop huge caches of ammo which must be constantly picked up to yield larger shots with better capacity to take down multiple foes. Cute shooter that bucks the trend of the many blood fests out there.

Tip: Pick up the small white blocks. This is ammo, without it the game will end.

Alien Slayer 3D

Alien Slayer 3D – One of the more graphically intensive flash games available, Alien Slayer 3D is a 3D (as the name would suggest), 1st person shooter, very similar to classics of the genre like Doom. Alien Slayer offers different difficulty settings, and plenty of other customization options. Be aware that a hefty 2GB of RAM is recommended for playing on maximum graphical settings.
