Mayaball is an updated version of the brick breaking game Breakout. You take control of a paddle on the bottom of the screen, and must insure the ball doesn’t get by you. Treasure chests on each level can be smashed for power-ups like increased size, and greater speed. The graphics have received a nice facelift over the original versions, with a nice Mayan theme.

Skywire is a charming little arcade/puzzle game where you must guide a collection of cute little people on their journey through the skies, or at least, through the rails. They’re travelling along rails in a sky car through loops, big climbs and huge drops, and many obstacles impede them along the way. Cute graphics, music and sound effects help make Skywire a winner.

Dragon Ball Kart

Dragon Ball Kart is a four player kart racing game, inspired by the many other mascot racers out there. You have a power move that can be used to slow down your opponents, and obstacles to jump around. Other than that, it’s just go, go, go. The decision to use a side view rather than the genre staple overhead view was an interesting one, but either way, DBK is a fun little kart racer to spend some time with.

Super Mario Bros Flash – Another flash homage to the classic Super Mario Bros. series, this time of Super Mario Bros 3, one of the best selling games of all time. Despite all the advances in graphics and gameplay over the years since, there’s something undeniably rewarding and fun about playing old-school platformers like this, despite the less than perfect controls.

Pop Pirates is an overhead 2-D shooter, with bright and crisp graphics. The control is spot on, and the gameplay simple and enjoyable fun. Your mission is to destroy the viruses infesting your computer, and collect the KB they drop after being ‘deleted’. Additional powerups can be picked up to up your firepower and virus killing acumen.

Instructions:
Use your mouse to manoeuvre your spaceman and left click to fire. Pick up all the bonuses and power ups as you go along.

Sounds easy enough, but you must collect coins along the route, forcing you into a specific pattern which can be difficult to fulfill. Pandemonium – What one man will do for his muffins… As a hungry soldier, you must run around multiple areas collecting muffins, while avoiding the increasing number of obstacles that are bound and determined to stop you. Lightning bolts, poisonous muffins, and falling crates are just some of the obstructions you’ll have to deal with in Pandemonium.
